There's only one thing in the world more adorable than a Teacup Draft or Teacup Mule... and that's a BABY Teacup Draft or Teacup Mule!!

We are now opening up the opportunity to breed your Teacups!  Just follow the steps below!
  • Step One:  eyeball your lineage -- inbreeding is not allowed!
  • Step Two:  check the ages of your sire & dam -- Teacups must be at least 5 years old to be bred!
  • Step Three:  if the sire or dam are owned by someone else, your breeding slot MUST be marked as ready to use!
  • Step Four: create a breeding pic of the sire & dam!  This can be a pair of headshots or a full-body, artist's choice!
  • Step Four:  submit your breeding pic of the happy couple to the Breeding Art gallery, with the Breeding Form below filled out in the Artist's Comment section.
  • Step Five:  Group Admins will process your breeding pic and leave a comment respond with your genos.  You'll be provided with two genotypes to choose between. Choose wisely.
  • Step Five:  download the Teacup-Registry group Foal Lines and design your foal!  When you've finished, upload it to the Foal Designs gallery.
  • Step Six:  Group Admins will review your foal design -- and if necessary, you may be asked to make changes.  These changes will be required beforea foal design can be approved.
  • Step Seven: once a foal design is approved, you are asked to register that foal within a reasonable amount of time.

BREEDING FORM:  MUST be included in the artist's comment field, with working links!
Sire: [must provide link]
Dam: [must provide link]

Additional notes on breedings:
  • Remember -- Mule x Mule breedings are infertile -- to get a foal from a Teacup Mule, the mule must be bred back to the Teacup Draft.
  • Teacup Drafts x Teacup Mule breedings have a 50/50 chance in resulting in a mule OR a draft foal.
  • Chimera genetics can be passed on to foals!  Chimeras are considered to have two separate breedable sets of genetic. If a chimera's breeding partner is also a chimera, their chimera genetics will be combined.  A chimera bred to a non-chimera will have the non-chimera's base coat applied, if the chimera genetic has been found to pass on to the foal.
  • There are random chances for Bend-Or/Birdcatcher Spots, Brindle/Reverse Brindle, and Somatic coat.  There is also a very tiny chance for Twins.
