Welcome to the Winter 2018 Teacup Celebration Fun Show! This event is part of the Teacup-Registry's ongoing quarterly Fun Shows, open to all registered Teacup Drafts & Teacup Mules!
Class #1: Halter Class
Put on a spit 'n polish shine and strut your stuff for the judges! (Handler need not be included, but halter and lead are necessary)

Class #2: Liberty Jumping
Jumping. At liberty. Because who says the big boys should have all of the fun? An eclectic variety of jumps will be provided, of varying heights and challenge ratings. (In other words, artists have a blast!) (Handler need not be included)

Class #3: Costume
Because who doesn't love a costume contest? (Handler need not be included)

Class #4: Weight Drag
An eclectic variety of heavy objects will be provided for a single Teacup in harness to pull. (In other words: artists - have a blast, and assume a Teacup Draft can comfortably pull 3X its own weight -- i.e. 350 to 600 pounds.) (Handler need not be included)

Class #5: Teddy Bear Steeplechase
Break out those racing silks and your Derby hat, then settle back with a mint julep in order to enjoy the highlight of the day: the Teddy Bear Steeplechase! Each racer is tacked up in miniature racing gear, and is jockeyed by a teddy bear. The first Teacup Draft to reach the finish line WITH his rider still in the saddle wins the race! (Teacup must be running or jumping and must have some sort of tiny rider -- plush toys & dolls encouraged)

Class #6: Pup & Pony Trail Class
You Teacup must negotiate a Trails obstacle course while accompanied by one of its non-equine stable companions. You can showcase any of your stable's barn buddies: dogs, cats, goats, pot bellied pigs... even the exotic stable pets like monkeys, owls, fire lizards, honey badgers, Dire Wolves... (Note: husbands/boyfriends and other Teacups do NOT count in this class as companion animals!)

Class #7: Chuckwagon Chariot Races!
The arena soundspeakers will be blasting the theme song from Bonanza as teams of Teacups race around the arena, hauling their wheeled conveyance of choice. Chuck wagons, pony carts, surreys, miniature barouche, exotically wrought Elven carriages, even ancient Gladitorial chariots -- if a single Teacup or a team of Teacups can be harnessed up to it and make those wheels spin, bring them to the races!

Class #8: Foal Frolics!
This show is for those tiny little teacups, prancing around on their teeny little tootsies -- showcase your favorite Teacups as they looked as foals, or turn the spotlight on the results of your latest breedings!

Class #9: By Member Request -- Literature!
By popular request -- this class is for our writers! These four rules apply: 1) one or more Teacups must be the primary equines in your fic; 2) the fic must be at least 500 words in length, 3) the setting must include the current season; and 4) the following five words (chosen by random at creativitygames.net/random-word-generator ) must be incorporated into the fic in some fashion: shrimps, morning tea, music, misnomer, coronet

Class #10: Judge's Choice for Versatility: Rodeo Days
The Judge's Choice class switches up every show, always bringing in new ways for Teacups to show off their myriad talents (or alternately, their owners' capacity for crazy ideas!). For this quarter, the Versatility class will feature Rodeo Days! Show your Teacup as participating in any class of Rodeo sports (such as herding cats or sheep as an alternative to herding cattle; running barrels, etc.)

Points for each horse from each class will go toward that individual horse's final tally, with Fun Show trophies going to the first, second and third place top point-earning horses. Judges will award points as following:
Volunteer Judges will be solicited! If you wish to volunteer, send a note to BrowncoatWhit with the subject line: "Volunteering to Judge 2017 Fun Show." Judges do not need to own Teacups to volunteer, but are required to be members of the Teacup-Registry community. Deadline for volunteers will be December 30, 2017, and judges will be selected via RNG from the pool of volunteers; judges need to be avialable during the first week of January 2018 to perform their duties! Volunteers cannot judge their own work, but will roll RNG results for themselves instead.
BACKGROUND TEMPLATES: here are some possible free-to-use templates which are available for use in this show, should you wish -- just be absolutely sure that credit to the original template artist is included in your show entry, or the entry will be disqualified!

Event Deadline:
The Winter 2018 Teacup Celebration Fun Show deadline is midnight, March 31th! All entries must be received by the deadline. Winners will be announced approximately one week after that deadline.Fun Show Classes
There are multiple classes in the Teacup Celebration Fun Show -- artists are welcome to enter just one class, or enter them all! Some general rules of thumb:- Each individual horse can only compete only once in each class, but can be entered in all eight fun show classes.
- All class entries will be tallied toward a final Grand Championship prize.
- All Fun Show entries must include a background; artists can use free-for-use theme-appropriate backgrounds, or the are welcome to create their own.
- Each Teacup earns a +5 Tea Leaf participation bonus per qualifying class entry.

Trophies & Grand Championship Prices!
- Each participating Teacup earns a +5 Tea Leaves bonus for each competition entry in the quarterly group fun shows.
- 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place ribbons will be rewarded to the top three placements in each class, and a participation ribbon is provided to all other participants.
- A custom Teacup Import will be rewarded to the Grand Champion of each show! The Grand Championship is determined by the judges after a tally is made of all show entries.
Rules & Registration:
- Art submissions MUST feature your Teacup Draft or Teacup Mule. Handlers and/or tack are optional -- UNLESS otherwise stated in the Class Description. Multiple Teacups may be featured, but all Teacups must be identified by ID# in the registration form in order to be formally entered.
- Background templates will be provided for players who wish to use them; the use of these backgrounds are not required for entry BUT all entries MUST have a class-appropriate background.
- Owners can enter all 8 classes per show.
- Owners can enter as many of their Teacups as they wish into each class, but each Teacup may only be entered once in each class.
- Entries MUST be uploaded to the "Teacup Fun Shows" Gallery before the event's deadline in order to qualify for participation.
- Each entry must also include the Registration Form in the art comments section. Art posted without Registration information will be considered disqualified from the competition.
- Fic of at least 250 words in length can be included for a bonus reward to Teacups who are primary actors in the fic.
- Lineart cannot be re-used and no free/pay-to-use lineart is allowed.
- Leased or commissioned entries are allowed, provided it is received by the race deadline and clearly features a properly-ID'd Teacup Draft.

Judging

- Effort (based on artist's existing gallery): 0 - 25
- Creativity: 0 - 25
- Background (includes adaption of free-to-use templates; +5 starting bonus for artist's own background, provided it is appropriate to the class theme): 0 - 10
- Correct Tack/Handler Shown: 0 - 10
- Story: 0 - 10 (must be at least 250 words to count for judging)
- Random (RNG): 0 - 10
