I know this is from a couple weeks ago, but I totally love being able to find items, craft stuff, upgrade items, etc. 
I am really motivated to be that person who has the most items or the most $ in the bank.  I would be drawing in surplus anyway.  Having specific things to draw makes me feel like my art is more useful in general than me just doing it cause I need to. 
I think going off the previous comment, it might be worth having some items that are specifically found, and others that are RNG. 
I dunno if that helps but I'm interested in where this might lead!
